CONTEST

The amazing Lisa Yee has written three fabulous first lines to stories.

But wait!

The actual stories don’t exist yet. She needs YOUR HELP to turn one of these lines into an awesome work of fiction! Lisa will choose her favorite story (along with few runners-up) and well announce the winners online in spring 2017.

The First Lines

Despite itlocation, Dots Donut Shop was about to get famous. 

I thought it was a costume party.

The new coach seemed peculiar, and it wasnt just because of that third eye.

How to Enter

Entries must be received by: March 10, 2017

Pick your favorite line.

Write a short story starting with your chosen line.

Stories must be between 800 and 3,000 words.

Edit and revise!
