To access the student view, all your students need is your classroom password. Here’s how to find it:
Click on “My Dashboard” at the top right of the page.
Find your classroom password next to the Scope logo under “Manage Your Magazine Online Resources.”
Share your classroom password with your students. Your students can log in by clicking the “Student Sign In” button at the top right-hand corner of the page. They will be prompted to enter the classroom password—and then voila! They will be taken to the student view.
Note: Based on our conversations with many of you, we have decided not to include quizzes and activity sheets in the student view. As always, you may print and distribute activities, or post them to your class blog or wiki if you don’t want to print and copy.
Tell us what you think!
The new student view is just one of several exciting digital features we will be unveiling next year. So try it out with your class and let us know how it goes! Send an email to email@example.com with any questions, comments, or concerns. Better yet? Invite us to visit you—in person or by Skype.
If you don’t want students reading ahead, we recommend you change your classroom password with each new issue. (You can change your classroom password as often as you like by clicking ‘Edit’ next to your current classroom password.)
